BISLY AURORA WIRELESS

Building-Wide Automation. Without Extensive New Wiring.

Bisly Aurora extends sophisticated automation throughout existing and new buildings. Wi-SUN provides building-wide connectivity, while Thread and Matter connect compatible room devices and controls, integrated into the same Bisly BMS used for wired installations.

Proven Wireless Standards. One Integrated Building Platform.

Bisly Aurora wireless base station, gateways, and room devices

Wi-SUN. Thread. Matter. Each Engineered for Its Role.

Wi-SUN — The Building Backbone

Sub-GHz, IPv6-based mesh networking connects building zones through multi-hop, self-healing routing. Established in utility and smart-meter deployments, Wi-SUN brings large-scale wireless networking to building automation.

Thread — Room and Zone Networking

A low-power IPv6 mesh connects compatible room devices locally. The zone gateway provides Thread border routing between the zone network and the building backbone.

Matter — Device Interoperability

Matter defines standardized device communication over IP, including Thread. Compatible sensors, actuators, switches, and room controls communicate through the same building platform.

From the Building Backbone to Every Room.

Aurora joins the same BMS as wired Bisly hardware. The base station connects over Ethernet; Wi-SUN carries traffic between the backbone nodes, while each zone gateway joins its local Thread mesh to that backbone. Matter supplies the device application layer over Thread.

Intelligent Control at Every Level.

Local zone intelligence

Zone gateways execute control logic and schedules locally and buffer operational data. Room control does not depend on a continuous cloud connection.

Resilient mesh routing

Wi-SUN self-healing routes and the local Thread mesh support connectivity across backbone and zone networks.

Authenticated, encrypted communication

Wi-SUN nodes use certificate-based authentication and encrypted links. Thread encrypts mesh traffic; Matter attests joining devices and encrypts sessions. The BMS provides central supervision.
